Medieval architecture is one of the most significant manifestations of artistic and engineering creativity, reflecting the social, religious, and political transformations of the era. This architecture includes the grand cathedrals that embody faith and belief, as well as the fortified castles that represent struggles for power and security. The research explores the architectural features of both cathedrals and castles, their associated symbols, and the influences of Gothic and Romanesque architecture. It highlights how these structures interacted with social and political values, contributing to a deeper understanding of Western civilization's history.
