Abstract

There is no doubt that environmental factors play a major role in influencing each individual's behavior, whether negatively or positively, although this influence varies from one person to another depending on the environment in which they are located and the period of time they spend within it

Accordingly, scientists have been interested in studying the criminal phenomenon in terms of explaining its causes, motives, and the factors influencing its commission. This includes their interest in studying environmental factors because of their major role in influencing behaviors. They have divided them into internal and external environmental factors. In this sense, each individual has his own environment or surrounding circumstances, and these circumstances differ from one person to another
