Ground tennis, To consume oxygenAbstract
Tennis is one of the games that have special physical and functional requirements, and the development of physical and functional abilities is one of the most important because it is the basis for developing the skill, tactical and psychological aspects of the players. One of the most important features that a tennis player should have is to complete the match in its periods, maintaining his speed and strength despite the long performance period. The researcher believes that the majority of the players appear tired at an early stage, which leads to a weakness in the skill performance and tactical execution, because the game is characterized by rapid and continuous play with different intensity, and this in turn indicates a weakness in physical abilities and lack of resistance to fatigue, and there is a lack of use of modern and appropriate training methods in Develop physical and functional capabilities. The current research aims to:
1- Identifying the level of physical efficiency (pwc) and the maximum oxygen consumption and heart occupancy, and the existence of a correlation between them.
2- Finding an equation to predict the oxygen debt in terms of physical efficiency, the maximum consumption of oxygen and the work of the heart.
Research community: the 62 players registered with the Federation to participate in the Libyan Open Championship 2020, and the number of the research sample was 48 players, which constituted a percentage of 77.41% of the research community As for the most important conclusions:
1- The correlation relationship was identified and found on the level of physical efficiency (pwc), the maximum consumption of oxygen and the occupancy of the heart.
2- Determining the percentages of the contribution of physical efficiency and the maximum consumption of oxygen and occupying the heart with oxygen debt and finding an equation to predict the oxygen debt in terms of efficiency
As for the most important recommendations:
- Conducting other studies on the same topic of research in other sports activities.
2- Paying attention to young age groups and training them according to the correct and studied scientific foundations in learning and training.
