Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of challenges facing students with special needs from the point of view of faculty members at Tobruk University, including some variables related to the university professor, represented by gender, academic specialization, scientific qualification, and years of experience, as their number reached (86) of both sexes during the academic year 2023-2024. To that end, the questionnaire prepared by Ibrahim Al-Awda (2015) was used. After the application and data collection, a statistical analysis was conducted using the statistical analysis program (Spss), where the results showed an average level of challenges in general. The study also showed that the most important academic challenges the students faced were attending laboratory materials, and in last place came the difficulty of not understanding the educational material. As for the physical challenges, the most important of them was the difficulty of unsuitability of buildings, and in last place came the difficulty of moving between lectures. In the field of social difficulties, the difficulty of the negative view by ordinary students ranked first.
