This paper deals with the situation of the Cyrenean region, since its last king, Ptolemy Apion, bequest it to the Roman, in 96 BC., until the arrival of the first Roman ruler to the region 74 BC. Dealt with the analysis of the circumstances that prompted him to do so, the conditions of cities and royal lands, the relationship of the Libyan tribes to the region, and their interference in the conflict between tyrants. The researcher discussed whether the region had paid taxes to Rome, since the date of the annexation, in the beginning, or with the arrival of the first governor of the region. In addition, dealt with the conflict between Senate and the equestrian and its impact on the region. Moreover, the visit of Lucullus, one of Sulla's officers, to the region, and the arrival of the first Roman governor to the region, after leaving the region for more than twenty years, suffering chaos, wars, and the rule of tyrants.
