About the Journal

Welcome to the Tobruk University Journal of Medical Sciences (TUJMS)

TUJMS is an open‑access, international, peer‑reviewed medical journal published biannually (January–June; July–December) by Tobruk University, Libya. Since launching in June 2018, TUJMS has established itself as a trusted global platform committed to excellence, transparency, and inclusivity in the health sciences.

At TUJMS, we understand that timely dissemination is essential for clinical impact and scientific progress. We therefore adopt a continuous publishing model—accepted articles are published online individually and immediately once peer review and copy‑editing are complete. Each article is then assigned page numbers within the current biannual volume, supporting fast indexing and citation.
