Abstract

This research seeks to explore the intricacies of Cioran's philosophy, asserting that it is a direct reflection of his life experiences. These experiences range from his childhood, where he faced tensions in his familial relationships, to his youth, during which he encountered profound alienation after departing from his hometown for educational opportunities, leading to bouts of insomnia. In his later years, Cioran's status as a refugee in France subjected him to marginalization and discrimination. A comprehensive historical account of pivotal moments in Cioran's life is essential for understanding how these factors influenced his philosophical positions on family, women, marriage, childbirth, suicide, homeland, and nationalism. Moreover, it is noteworthy that Cioran often preferred to derive his ideas from folk narratives and the expressions of common people, rather than from the established philosophical canon.
